Information we collect
Information you provide. When you fill in the quote, service call or contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, the building or company name, your e-mail address, your phone number, the job address, the systems involved and the content of your message.
Technical information. Like any website, our server logs the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page visited and the browser type. These logs are used only for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies. This site sets one cookie that is strictly necessary for the forms to work (cross-site request forgery protection). No advertising or tracking cookie is set without your prior consent.
Why we use it
We use your information solely to respond to your request: preparing a quote, scheduling a service call, answering a question and following up on it.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for unsolicited marketing.
Retention
Requests received through the forms are kept for as long as needed to process the file and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then securely destroyed.
Technical server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Sharing with third parties
Your information is not shared with third parties, except with the suppliers that allow us to operate the site and our mail (hosting, e-mail), and only to the extent necessary for that service.
When a project involves wireless network installation, we may put you in touch with our partner A1 Réseau — with your agreement.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Forms are protected against request forgery and rate-limited to prevent abuse. Access to the requests received is restricted to the people who need it.
Your rights
Under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you may request access to the information we hold about you, its correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent.
To exercise any of these rights, write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information at Dièse Intercom Inc. at the address below. We reply within the timeframes set by law. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
